You can look up an entity 'by name' or 'by 'id' only if you know all the ids or names in the path.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;And as far as gae-sqlite goes, you can continue to throw away the entity group part of the protobuf, as long as you're retaining the entirety of the key.
